Why agent notifications matter

Most AI tools require you to stay in the interface to see results. OpenClaw flips this: you assign a task, close the tab, and get a Telegram message when it's done.

This is especially useful for recurring tasks. Set a Researcher agent to check competitor pricing every morning and report to your Telegram. Set an Analyst to summarize weekly metrics and post to your Slack channel. The agents work asynchronously while you focus on other things.

Frequently asked questions

In your OpenClaw dashboard, go to Integrations → Telegram → Connect. You'll create a Telegram bot via BotFather (takes 2 minutes), paste the token, and choose which chat or group the agent should post to. Done.
Yes. Once the Telegram integration is connected, you can send messages to your agents directly from Telegram and receive their responses. It works as a two-way channel.
Any agent can be configured to send Telegram notifications. You choose per-agent which integration channel they use. Common setups: Researcher → Telegram personal chat, Analyst → Slack team channel.
No. Telegram, Slack, and Discord integrations are included in all OpenClaw plans at no additional charge.
